Comet Holmes, 3rd Nov. 3.30am, 2007, from downtown Guanajuato:
Composite of 7 exposures of 8secs, at 1600ASA, taken with a Canon EOS DSLR,
7"f/6 MakNewt, from my roof-top terrace in Guanajuato (near Dos Rios).
Mild (50%/30pix) unsharp masking.
Recently: Total solar eclipse Turkey, March 29, 2006:
Composite picture from 6 exposures 1/2 ... 1/90 sec, DSLR at 200 ASA,
with 60/700mm refractor. Image processing: overlay of Sekanina-Larsen mask.
Spectacular pair: eclipsed Sun over the Apollo temple of Side - however,
it has to be admitted: This is not a real shot but a composite picture.
